Born and raised in Switzerland, Marcel Wenker offers fine cuisine he first prepared at luxury hotels such as the Hotel Sternen in Menziken and Palace Hotel in Gstaad.

During his very first years in the culinary arts, Marcel worked his way up from dishwasher to apprentice to chef, so he understands and appreciates every detail that comprises a successful event.Map & Flag of Switzerland

Following a ten-year stint as a chef for the Swiss Army, Marcel emigrated to the United States.  He studied event planning at hotel management school and served as a chef for the Omni International Hotel in Atlanta before working for the National Geographic in Washington, DC, and Café Berlin in Boonsboro, Maryland, among other establishments.

Marcel started his own catering service over ten years ago and, since then, he’s brought his unique combination of training, experience, artistic eye, and affable personality to every event he’s catered—whether it’s a large wedding, family gathering, or intimate dinner.
